All Exempt and Professional staff are invited to our opening week gathering. Come meet your bargaining team, get updated on our first contract, ask questions, share thoughts, and connect with colleagues across departments. AFT Washington will be providing lunch for all exempt professional staff. Please RSVP so we know how much food to order 🙂

We are continuing to recruit members for our Bargaining Team. This team will help shape bargaining proposals, represent staff during negotiations, gather feedback from colleagues, and communicate updates throughout the bargaining process.
If you’re interested in serving on the Bargaining Team—or know a colleague who would be a great representative—we encourage you to submit a nomination.

No previous bargaining or union experience is required. Training and support will be provided. We are looking for staff who are committed to representing their colleagues and helping us build a strong first contract.
